The founder of the Acupuncture Detective is:
Mark Whitham BSc (Hons), PGCHE, CertHE, AAC, LicAc.
Mark is 59 years old and lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three adult children. After a 30 year long career in public service he decided that a change of direction was needed. Mark is fully qualified and experienced to deliver safely and effective Acupuncture, Tui Na Massage ,Cupping, Gua Sha and all other Chinese Medicine modalities including auricular or ear acupuncture. Mark has also undertaken the National Association of Detoxification Acupuncture (NADA) course which specialises in Alcohol and Drug addiction and stress management.
As a younger man Mark was interested in Martial Arts and taught Judo to children and young adults. These days he prefers the joys of some gentle fly fishing. This sports background has given him a particular interest in musculoskeletal problems; he also has a keen interest in digestive problems such as IBS,GORD and other debilitating daily conditions such as migraines and plantar fasciitis.
He has undertaken a post graduate course in Cosmetic Acupuncture and is excited by the results this can offer.
Mark was selected to sit on the national British Acupuncture Council Student Committee and he is a full member of the British Acupuncture Federation and the Association of Acupuncture Clinicians. He was also a Lecturer in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the City College of Acupuncture.
Mark is very focused on you and your health and assisting you to find clues in your life to obtain health and well being.
